More Cup Magic

After a very successful predicting day yesterday for the blog, today we have two more third round matches to preview.

First sees Arsenal travel to the Liberty Stadium, this match to me would suggest goals looking at both teams form.  Swansea have seen both teams score in seven out of their last nine matches at home.  Strangely Arsenals away record for both teams scoring is identical, but what will be key is if the managers decide to rotate.  Swansea have lost just one of their last ten at home but have only actually won three of these. Arsenal also have only lost twice on the road in their last ten in the league.  Again depending on the strength of the starting XI I would be looking towards goals in this match and if I had to pick a result I would suggest a draw but this match could go either way.

The second match sees Liverpool travel away to Mansfield.  Mansfield have lost just one of their last eleven at home and have kept five clean sheets in doing so.  Liverpool are believed to be resting a few players in this match and could find this a tough first match in the f.a cup this season.   Liverpool have scored in eight of their last ten matches on the road and lost only three of these matches.  I reserve judgement on this match until I see what team Liverpool field.  Again this is another game that could see goals in but as for the match result my only doubt for a Liverpool win is a replica performance from their recent visit to Stoke.
